CEPSR Overview
Clarkson University's electric power engineering program is recognized as one of the leading power programs in the United States. Our program is known for its modern educational thrusts, strong interactions with the power engineering community, and cutting edge research.
Our research programs address current industry issues and contribute directly to the global goals of reducing carbon emissions, and electrifying transportation and building energy usage.
Our educational programs prepare our undergraduate and graduate students for challenging and rewarding careers that address these same goals.
CEPSR Vision and Mission Statement
The Center for Electric Power System Research (CEPSR) vision is to continuously improve the Clarkson University electric power systems program.
The CEPSR Mission is to fulfill the center's vision of continuous improvement by
- Promoting strong relationships between the Clarkson program and industry, particularly through the CEPSR board
- Promoting an active and relevant research program across the diverse electric power systems areas of interest
- Developing and maintaining strong workforce development activities at the undergraduate and graduate levels
