Honors Program Newsletter: November 2023

Message From the Director

Welcome to the November edition of the Clarkson University Honors Program Newsletter. We are proud that our Honors students hail from diverse majors across our University. In this newsletter, we’re highlighting students from psychology, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering and construction engineering management. In addition, one of our recent graduates, a recipient of the Frederica Clarkson Award, majored in environmental science and policy. No matter their fields of study, they are exploring their fields and making their mark.

Our students continue to show us all the possibilities that a Clarkson University Honors education offers, presenting their research at major academic and professional conferences, with some receiving grant funding to attend. Back here on campus, one of our graduating seniors was honored as one of the two top students in the Class of 2023. We also welcomed a new Honors professor with a strong academic background in ethics.

I hope that you enjoy reading about the latest accomplishments of just a few of our Honors students as they continue to pursue perspective-transforming experiences through our unique curriculum.

— Kate Krueger, Director, University Honors Program / Professor of Literature
