Fall 2024 - EMT Original and Refresher Courses

Clarkson University, Clarkson Hall - 59 Main Street, Potsdam, NY
Mondays (6 pm - 9 pm), Thursdays (6 pm - 9 pm), and some Saturdays (9am - 4pm)

Course begins August 26th, 2024 until December 7th (Practical Skills Exam Date)

Original cost: $1050.00 (includes text, online materials, Uniform shirts and a vital signs kit)

PLEASE NOTE: Registration and payment is due by August 16th, 2024. To register, please go to the following link: https://forms.gle/jtNDPEGaVvEzc6bq8 Registrations and payments can be mailed but need to be received by the above dates or at the EMS Office, room 3008 in Clarkson Hall, 59 Main Street, Potsdam, NY by August 16, 2024.

Certified EMS agencies can submit for NYS reimbursement upon the student’s successful receipt of NYS EMS Certification.

Anyone interested after the application deadline but before the start of classes should email emt@clarkson.edu and if there are openings still available - we may be able to get you into class.

Continuing Medical Education

Emergency medical Technicians (EMTs) can re-certify themselves by attending Continuing Medical Education Sessions (CMEs). They are conducted 8 months of the year and more information can be found here.
