Interested in an Overnight Visit?

Come and experience Clarkson through an overnight visit (or as we like to call them, OverKnights) with a current student. Why you ask? You will be spending countless days and nights on a college campus - so experience Clarkson for yourself before you make this critical decision in your life. Accompany your host to class, to the dining hall, to the Cheel Campus Center, or to one of the many other exciting places on campus.

Your visit will entail an interview with an admission counselor, a campus tour, an opportunity to attend a class and a meeting with a professor in the area of your academic interest(s). Through your interaction with students, faculty, staff and time on our campus we hope that you are able to get a better sense of why students have been so successful upon graduating from Clarkson.

Our OverKnight Hosting Program is offered to high school seniors who have been accepted to Clarkson. These students will be hosted on a space-available basis, Tuesday through Thursday nights. To schedule an overnight visit, please contact the Undergraduate Admissions office at 315-268-6480 or send an email to cuoverknight@clarkson.edu with the dates you would like to visit.  We will check the availability for those dates and get back to you as soon as possible.  So that we can provide you with the best experience, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to the day you would like to visit.

Once your overnight visit is confirmed, you will be provided with an itinerary and asked to complete overnight forms prior to your arrival.  These forms will be available on your Clarkson Status Portal.

If you currently know of a student on campus you would like to stay with, feel free to contact them as you will not need to schedule an overnight visit with us.  However, if you would like an interview and campus tour please contact us to make those arrangements ahead of time.  We look forward to meeting you this spring!
