Program Dates
May 22, 2023 – July 28, 2023
Location
Clarkson University’s Potsdam Hill Campus, located in Potsdam, New York.
Financial Package
Participants will receive:
- $600/week stipend ($6,000 in total for 10 weeks)
- $120/week meal stipend ($1,200 in total for 10 weeks)
- Round-trip travel to and from Potsdam, New York
- On campus housing for the 10-week program period (free charge to students and details will be announced once it has been finalized)
Eligibility
- Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States
- GPA above 3.0
- Interest and background in areas (including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Math, Statistics, Energy Policy, Environmental Engineering, Physics, etc.) suitable for one or more research projects listed here
- Interest in and aptitude for research in electricity infrastructure as evidenced by the transcript, personal statement, and letter of recommendations
- Students’ graduate study plan (to be included in your personal statement)
Application Deadline
Full consideration will be given to applications submitted before 11:59 p.m. (EST) February 15, 2023. However, the review will continue after the deadline until the positions are filled.

*Students from underrepresented groups in the science, engineering, veterans, disabled, or are early in their undergraduate coursework (rising sophomores or juniors) are especially encouraged to apply.
