Biography
Major Phillip White is the Recruiting Officer assigned to Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) Detachment 536, Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York. He is responsible to the AFROTC Commander for recruiting, training, motivating and educating Air Force officer candidates. He also promotes Air Force career opportunities to university and high school students, faculty, parents, and administrators. Additionally, as an Assistant Professor, he instructs college courses in Clarkson University’s Department of Air, Space, and Cyberspace Studies.
Major White entered the Air Force through the Air Force ROTC program at Clarkson University in 2012. He has served in a variety of flying positions during assignments in Air Combat Command including flight lead, instructor pilot, and evaluator pilot. He has deployed three times in support of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE, where he provided theater-wide Combat Search and Rescue capabilities to U.S. and coalition forces.
