Biography

Karen has been an occupational therapist for almost 30 years.  She is an expert in pediatric evaluation and intervention demonstrating several years experience in school based and private practice.  She owned a successful private pediatric outpatient practice that provided occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy and ABA therapy service for children 1 to 13 years old.  Karen has extensive teaching experience in OTA and maters level programs and incorporates a philosophy of incorporating hands on learning, clinical expertise with evidence based practice.  She has a strong interest in the value of incorporating Simulation education for clinical practice education.
