Biography

Dr. Chunlei Charles Liang received his Ph.D. degree from the University of London in 2005. He is developer of multiple numerical solvers for both compressible and incompressible flows on unstructured grids. Dr. Liang and his graduate student, Seyi Oluwadare, designed the Seyi-Chunlei Ducted Turbine at Clarkson University. Thanks to the support of NSF and AFOSR, Dr. Liang led a successful development of CHORUS-MHD for simulating density-stratified magnetohydrodynamics in the solar convection zone on GPUs at Clarkson University.
