Biography
Dr. Marko earned his bachelor of physical therapy degree from University of Tel-Aviv, his master of health science degree from Washington University-College, in St Louis, MO, his doctor of physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA, and his Ph.D. from Syracuse University, in Syracuse, NY. In addition, Dr. Marko is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapy specialist and a board-certified strength & conditioning specialist. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American National Strength & Conditioning Association.
Dr. Marko PT, DPT, MHS, PhD joined the Physical Therapy Department in the Lewis School of Health & Life Sciences, at Clarkson University, in August of 2016 as an Assistant Clinical Instructor. Dr. Marko is a core faculty teaching in the areas of musculoskeletal rehabilitation and statistics.
Dr. Marko is an established and highly skilled physical therapist with over 30 years of experience in physical rehabilitation, with special interest in treating patients with musculoskeletal & sports injuries. Prior to taking this role in 2016, Dr. Marko was the owner of two outpatient clinics. Prior to that, he was a faculty at Utica College (1997 – 2001), and at SUNY Upstate Medical University (2001 – 2012).
