Biography

Dr. Jaime Bicknell PT, DPT, MPT,  is the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Assistant Professor. She is a three time graduate of Clarkson University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Business and Technology Management (2005), Master of Physical Therapy (2007) and Doctor of  Physical Therapy (2007). Dr. Bicknell practiced with patients with musculoskeletal and neurological dysfunction before becoming trained in pelvic health in 2016.  Dr. Bicknell became an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Women’s Health Clinical Specialist in 2020 and continued her specialty training receiving her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (CAPP-Pelvic) through the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy in 2021. Dr. Bicknell is a fitness coach and avid runner. She is passionate about promoting health and wellness in the female population with special interest in pelvic floor issues in the postpartum patient. Dr. Bicknell is an active member in the New York Physical Therapy Association (NYPTA) Eastern District and the New York/New Jersey (NYNJ) Consortium of Clinical Educators, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Sections on Pelvic Health and Clinical Education. Locally, Dr. Bicknell is a member of the Potsdam Central School Health and Wellness Committee.
