Biography
Tara Treffiletti is Associate Vice President of Institutional Communications & Reputation Strategy at Clarkson University, where she leads brand storytelling and cross-campus communications that elevate admissions, advancement, faculty research and other signature initiatives. A mission-driven strategist with 20+ years across marketing agencies, higher education, the arts and nonprofits, she builds integrated campaigns, manages creative teams and drives audience growth across web, video, print and events. Before joining Clarkson, Tara served as Marketing & Communications Manager for the internationally renowned Mark Morris Dance Group in Brooklyn, New York and previously led marketing at the Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci) in New York’s Capital Region.
Tara resides in Potsdam with her partner Kevin Hickey, an adjunct professor in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department, and their children. A moonlighting vocalist and entertainer, she can also be seen performing with bands and musical acts across Upstate NY and the North Country.
