Clarkson’s Construction Engineering Management Program Offers Professional Development Hours for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in New York State
In addition to offering undergraduate programs, graduate programs, and micro-credentials, Clarkson University’s Construction Engineering Management program also provides professional development hours in its capacity as an approved sponsor of continuing education in New York State.
On January 23, the Construction Engineering Management Program launches its annual lecture series: Special Topics in Construction Engineering Management. Professional engineers and land surveyors in New York State can earn one credit hour of professional development per lecture.
The series consists of weekly online presentations on a wide range of topics in civil and environmental engineering and construction. The presentations are given by experts and industry leaders, covering topics such as construction management tools, safety, asset management, construction estimating and bidding, safety inspections, and many others.
The series is hosted by Clarkson Alum, George S. Kansas, P.E. ('97). Kansas is an adjunct instructor in Clarkson’s Master of Science in Construction Engineering Management Program, of which this series is a part of.
Lectures will be held on Tuesday evenings, via Zoom, from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM (ET). Registration is open to professionals and the general public. The cost is $25 per lecture, or $200 for the entire 13-lecture series. Register here: https://connect.clarkson.edu/register/cem_series_2024.
