Katrina Low-Beer Appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Clarkson University

Katrina Low-Beer has been appointed clinical assistant professor of physical therapy at Clarkson University.

She received her doctorate of physical therapy from Clarkson University in 2016, and a bachelor of science degree in biology from Clarkson in 2012.

Low-Beer focuses her research in childhood developmental disorders with a special interest in the aging population of those with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Prior to coming to Clarkson, Low-Beer was a hospital Physical Therapist at Matheny Medical & Education Center in Peapack, NJ. She also served as an outpatient Physical Therapist at Mane Stream, Inc. in Oldwick, NJ concurrently until 2022. Low-Beer has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Clarkson.

She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America), and the American Hippotherapy Association.
