Biography
Ryan earned his Ph.D. in Integrated Studies in Education from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His expertise lies in higher education internationalization, critical policy analysis, international student mobility, and poststructural research methods. He has published his research in the academic journals Globalisation, Societies and Education; Higher Education Policy; and Discourse: Studies in the Cultural Politics of Education. He also has presented his research at the American Educational Research Association (AERA), the American Sociological Association (ASA), the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES), and the Canadian Society for the Studies in Education (CSSE). Ryan currently serves as a peer reviewer for several academic journals and professional research conferences in his field.
