Clarkson University Capital Region Campus Commencement is June 12 at Proctors Theater

More than 200 Clarkson University students will be recognized for earning advanced degrees and certificates in their program of study on Monday, June 12 as the University holds its Capital Region Campus Commencement on the MainStage at Proctors Theater in Schenectady.

CRC Commencement 2018Speaking at the ceremony will be Heather Mulligan, President and CEO of The Business Council of New York State, Inc.

Clarkson University Alumni Association Executive Vice President Lisa Jeffers ‘03, MS’21 will also speak to welcome the graduates as new alumni.

Several Awards will be presented during the ceremony. These awards include The Corlin Bauhofer MAT Encouragement Award, in recognition of quality work and resilience in the face of adversity by the Department of Education; The Joseph Finkelstein Award ,to a student of high academic distinction who has demonstrated substantial interest in cross-cultural and international management issues while making significant overall contributions to the School of Business community; The Allan C. Hamilton Award, for an outstanding student displaying academic achievement and citizenship in the School of Business; and the Gordon C. Baker '27 Service Citation, intended to recognize the importance of leadership and service by alumni to Clarkson's regional alumni chapters.

The Capital Region Campus Commencement Ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday.
