Newsletter: The weekly Career Center newsletter provides information about upcoming workshops, companies recruiting on campus, Career Fairs, co-op programs and study abroad programs.
KnightLink: Clarkson’s on-campus recruiting web site, KnightLink connects students, alumni and employers with information on entry-level and experienced full-time jobs, internships, co-op positions and mentoring. Prior to using KnightLink, please read our privacy policy.
EmployOn: This is a new service being offered by the Career Center. Students and Alumni can access numerous job listings on the Internet. This service provides access to all jobs posted within the United States and can be sorted by industry, geographic region, company name, job title and many other fields. This site is not secured by Clarkson University, however by setting up an account, your resume, applications and search information will remain protected.
TypeFocus: TypeFocus Careers (TFC) is an interactive online program that helps students develop excellent career plans starting with self-awareness using personality type strengths, and includes a personality assessment relating strengths to Career Choice, Work Relationships, Two-Person Teamwork, Training & Education, Getting a Job and Lifelong Learning. Rosetta Stone for Students/Alumni/Faculty/Staff and immediate relatives: Rosetta Stone® allows students, alumni and faculty/staff, as well as their immediate family members, to work independently in approximately 21 different languages. This program is expected to be a great resource for students planning to go abroad. Rosetta Stone can also serve to complement ESL course offerings for non-native English speakers in business programs, engineering programs and medical program, to name a few. Colleges and universities turn to Rosetta Stone because of its proven methodology, breadth of language offering and multiple levels of instruction per language, providing the opportunity to complement existing courses and introduce students to languages not included in the curriculum. To request access to this program, complete the registration form, save, and email to career@clarkson.edu, Please make sure that you have the most recent version of Adobe Reader (9). Co-op: The Cooperative Education Program helps students gain real-world experience prior to graduation. Many of Clarkson’s industry partners participate in the co-op program, offering students employment during an academic semester.
Study Abroad Exchange Program: Clarkson has agreements with universities in 14 countries and Puerto Rico to provide a study abroad experience. Experience in another country and culture can pay large dividends – personally, educationally and when it comes time to begin a career.
Career Fair: Clarkson sponsors a Career Fair each semester, regularly attracting a capacity crowd of 100 corporate, industrial and governmental partners. Any student can attend the fair for information about a co-op, internship or full-time position.
Handouts and Forms: The Career Center has created an informative web site on many topics related to job searches, including interviewing, letter writing, resumes and researching areas of employment. This section also includes forms used in registering for KinghtLink and links to information about standard graduate school admissions tests.

Clarkson University Alumni Association: The alumni association provides a place for students to begin building a network of Clarkson contacts.
